24 Shooters - 16 VFS, 3 Hunter, 5 Factory
Typical spring day warmed up to the 80's with some gusty Southwest winds. Our resident 3 Hunter Rifles duked it out with Curt Gallaher taking first place with a 248-13X and a beautiful 50-5X last target. His brother John gets 2nd at 247-8X. Tommy Maedgen anchored the 3rd spot with 245-5X. Had a good factory turnout. Scoresheet shows 23 peoples......#24 got put on back of score sheet......and #24 ,Ernest Mims , wins 1st place factory at 236-5X and wins 2 best targets. 2nd was Dickey Johnson with a 235-3X and 3rd is Hal Bogatz with 229-3X.
It was sooo windy there were only 2 clean shooters in VFS. And they tied for first place with 250-14X's. Kelly Novak takes 1st place with the tiebreaker 1st Match win. 2nd goes to Steve Brown. 3rd place is Don 'Always in the money' Mulhall with the high overall X-count at 249-18X.
