22 Shooters - 19 VFS, 3 Factory Rifles
Lots of sunshine, temps in the 80's and a slight but pesky breeze made for a good match today. The 2 factory rifles in 6.5 Creedmoor couldn't overcome the 308 (shooting factory ammo) in that class. Paul Shanklin posts a 245-7X with that 308 to get 1st place.
In 1st place VFS was Steve Brown with his 250-18X score. He wins 2 Best Targets along with bragging rights. Craig Lehman got 2nd with 250-16X and Steve Krause pulls in 3rd scoring 250-15X. 5 of the 19 VFS shooters shot clean. Shout out to Mike Green and Danny Keeney shooting with us for the first time. Good shooting and thanks to everyone for a strong showing for our match.
Reminder that next month we begin the summer start time of 10 am. Gate will be open by 8am.
