ARC - 100yd Hunter Benchrest Results April 28, 2019
14 shooters - 6 Hunter Rifle & 8 VFS
After some hard, cold north wind type matches, today's return to nice springtime conditions was enjoyed by all. Our prevailing SE breeze at 7-10 was back and temps in the upper 70's. Good to see our new shooters returning for more, a good sign they got the bug. It would be a good sign if we need 2 RELAYS.
In VFS, it was the Steve Young show today with his 250-20X 1st place score. He won 4 out of 5 Matches and won hi-X count. Good shootin! 2nd place was Steve K with 250-15X's and 3rd is Robert Rongero posting a 249-12X.
Curt Gallaher dominated 4 outta 5 targets to win Hunter with a 250-16X. Some excellent targets. 2nd place was Don Mulhall with 248-10X and 3rd was Tommy Maedgen at 248-6X.
Looking into a 200 yd match later in the summer. Shoot that yardage at your next practice.
Upcoming matches are Last Sunday of May, the 26th and our 3rd Annual Watermelon Match is June 30th. Yep, cold.... sweet.... watermelons.
