Well now...it was a hot, 99 degree afternoon with very light switchy winds. This should have been a trigger pull day. But...except for Pat Callan, I guess we just could not shoot in those cursed lulls. Give me a steady 5mph, left to right wind any day. Had a nice HUNTER turn out though.

Virg...glad to see you guys still have some participation...we have dwindled down to a couple of die hards...and then our 100/200 yard range has been closed due to bullets crossing into neihbors land...ours is a public range with no oversight or full time range officers...:mad:
Wish it wasn't so far to Austin I'd like to shoot with you guys...

Sure would like to have you shoot with us. Occasionally we have shooters as far as Tomball and Ft. Worth come over when none of the bigger matches are scheduled. Now some of our matches conflict with New Braunfels and that eliminates some of the top shooters like Gary Bristow and Frank Wilson. But since my matches are always on the last Sunday of the month, year round, and at 1pm in the afternoon, I get the occasional influx of shooters. The late start and early finish allow one to arrive and leave at reasonable times. As I give cash prizes to the winners, one can even buy a hamburger on the way home.:p
