Have a question

VFS in the NBRSA is set-up on a trial basis for one year. Does the NBRSA get $2.00 per competitor? Is the match still sanctioned if the NBRSA is not paid the $2.00 per competitor fee? Usually 2 yardages are shot in one day and the fee is sent to the NBRSA.

No records will be recognized or kept during this trial period? We have one of these VFS matches coming-up in July, so I am curious.

Can't answer all your questions...but yes, the $2 fee is applicable, yes it is sanctioned.

The Austin Rifle Club matches are only one yardage; 100yds. Shot at 1pm, the LAST Sunday of every month, year round.

The only competitor names I send to the NBRSA are for registered members of the NBRSA. All non-registered competitors still compete, but on a club match basis only.

Thanks! That WAS fun. But, I've got to give credit to Billy Stevens for building a FINE rifle and all my mentor friends including Virg and Jackie. I can't wait to get my Stevens built 30 BR in a couple months. The only thing we're waiting on right now is my second BAT action. :)

For the 6PPC aficionados' ...

For what it's worth, I came preloaded and did not clean the entire match. Which is what I always do. With foulers, sighters, and record shots I usually average between 37 to 42 rounds. With the cold weather on Sunday I fired 39. :)
