We had a great turnout of seventeen shooters with perfect weather conditions. As you can see Wes cleaned the clock in VFS and Charlie dropped a point in match five but still got the win in Hunter. High score for the year in Hunter is Curt Gallaher with a 250/14X and Frank Wilson and Wes Johnson are tied with a 250/19X in VFS. Of course there is still Nov and Dec to go.
John Thorpe was our only factory shooter with a hot shooting Rem heavy barrel 223. I think next time I'll put a lone factory shooter in VFS class just in case they shoot high score in a match. Ya never know; he did shoot a 49 1X in match two. Those 223 bullets are kinda small ya know.
