Well the ole Austin vectoring winds got the best of even the best shooters this time. NOBODY shot clean. And...at 103 degrees, there was a lot of sweat even shooting the scores that did win. Here are the results:
Hunter
1st: Charlie Kirkpatrick, 249/10X, 30/284 (High score for the day. Hey, VFS shooters, ever think of trading that 50X scope in for a 6X)?
2nd: Virgil Howarth, 243/5X, 30HBR
3rd: Mike Wall, 242/12X, 30/47
4th: Joe Hutchens, 242/5X, 30/46
5th: John Meddings, 230/2X, 30/47
VFS
1st: Robert Rongero, 248/13X, 30BR
2nd: Art Bosco, 247/11X, 30BR
3rd: Pat Callan, 246/10X, 6ppc
4th: Buster Troiano, 244/9X, 6ppc
Oh well...see ya all next month on the 30th. And...by-the-way, I'm not promising any cooler weather.
