Bench rest match report 10/29/11
We had another beautiful Fall day in Ashland, Or., with mild temps in the low 70s, partly cloudy, and a light steady wind from the south west. Steve Ware, Barbara Rodriguez, her son Kenny, Ron Silveira and Chris Lovitt, came down from the Wild River Club in Grants Pass. Our local club AARR brought in; Allen Haggem, Mark Gravelle, Bob Pont and myself. I made a big pot of stew and we shot and ate and shot and ate
We shot Pistol Field Target in the morning and Chris and I decided to shoot a round of BR cards at 25 meters after the second round of PFT and stew The wind stayed fairly steady for us with only a few times making us shake our heads in disbelief with shots landing on the opposite side of where the flags said they should. .. Chris might say that happened a few more times than I would.. but 30fpe helps with that condition… Chris shot his FWB in HV-B class and I shot 30fpe USFT #27 in Open class.
25M. HV 20fpe class (even though Chris is shooting 15fpe)
Chris Lovitt – 240 – 5X, 249 – 11X, 240 -6X, total 729 – 22X
25M. Open 30fpe class
Wayne Burns – 247 -9X, 247 – 12X, 248 – 12X, total 742 – 33X
