Much appreciation to Jerry Powers and the members of the Ashe County Wildlife Club in Laurel Springs NC for the well run IBS/UBR Combined 100/200 Meter match. To my knowledge there has never before been match like this with two organizations getting together for a combined match. The IBS 100 and 200 meter matches were held on Saturday and Sunday morning and the UBR 100/200 meter matches were held in the afternoons. Most of the UBR shooters shot the IBS matches as well as their own and many of the IBS shooters tried their hand at UBR. We were all well fed by the club with ham & biscuits, smoked chicken, burgers, hot dogs and luscious desserts. The weather was gorgeous (don't know if we can give credit to ACWC for that) and it made the drive over and back an additional bonus. I think I can speak for all the UBR shooters when I say we hope this may become an annual event. We'll be happy to go back to the mountains of North Carolina next fall.
