Here's a link to a site I was sent a few days ago with some really awesome photos. Some guy took a Helicopter up over London and using Gyroscopic stabilizers, shot night photos of the city. These are spectacular.

As to any relationship to shooting, well, years ago, someone got shot in London... Who knows :D

If you look closely, you won't see any guns in these photos. ;)

Wow, those are pretty cool. The fing I find most fascinating is, HOW were they taken? The people and cars are STOPPED.

Dude must have had a lens like Hubbell.

Nice pics. Phil, my wife loved them. Thanks for sharing them.

Al, given the saturation, it doesn't look like he cheated much by gamma correction either. I have no idea what lens would do this, but, maybe the no longer in production Canon 50mm F1.0 L would. I have a 50-1.4, and it's fast, but, these are like some new order of fast lens here. And he certainly wasn't shooting through some .6 ND to smooth out the lighting.

Vinny, I'm glad you enjoyed them. I sure did.

I think these rate a pullitzer prize, if on technical merit alone. Whatever this guys got, it's some serious camera kit.
