I have a couple of sets of elbow and knee pads but they are neither compfortable nor designed for kneeling or prone shooting. can anyone suggest something of decent quality?

I shoot indoors 4 position smallbore on a concrete floor in the winter. I use them with a shooting mat and a 3/8 inch closed cell foam underneath.
I've been quite happy with them.
I'm sure they would work even better outdoors on a mat on grass.
Blackhawk makes the same thing in a knees pad.

Thick enough to protect your elbow, give you a good solid foundation. It doesn't feel like my elbow is rolling around like it did with thicker pads. The price they list is for a pair.
