At Arlington Sportsman Club we shoot VFS matches on the 4th Saturday of the month from March - October (In 2015 our annual work day falls on the same day as our March match so we will not start shooting till April). Check in time is 8:00am and we get started as close to 9:00am as possible. This is a very relaxed club match but is still competitive. We have 4 different classifications (AR, Factory, Modified, BR). The majority of the shooters shoot in BR class. You do not need to be a member of the club to shoot, and cost is only $5 per shooter. Kids (under 18) always shoot free.
We would love to see more guests come out and shoot with us and enjoy our newly remodeled 100 yard range. $5 is cheaper than any public range day pass, and you may even get to see me misread the wind and toss one WAY OUT THERE as I often do.

In 2015, in addition to the monthly matches, we will also be presenting a Texas Hold'em Shooter of the Year award. Just like in Texas Hold'em you play the best 5 of the possible 7 cards, the BR shooter can turn in the best 5 scores of the possible 7 months on matches. This will allow you to toss out up to 2 of your lowest scores, or allow for you to miss two months with no consequences. The prize still needs to be approved by the board, but we are proposing a prepaid $50 Visa card.
