Are shooters saving the economy?

Understand this is all about the collapse of the economy, if it happens and there is no food. miltary martial law will be inefect and they will come door to door and take our gun's. the soldier will be obeying orders to take all firearms for their safety and the public's. you will not be able to stop them.

I hope that never happens. but looks like maybe, the buying spree everyone is on may help boost the economy..maybe?

If they come "door to door" then we clearly aren't the "well regulated Militia" we like to speak about. The plan is to be a bit more proactive than that.

Are you defending David Koresh, the Waco cult leader, who was a child molester and whose lieutenants fired on federal law enforcement officers trying to serve a legal search warrant? Once the firing started, did you expect the government to just walk away after recovering their dead and wounded? The feds knew that the compound contained a big stockpile of illegal weapons that might be turned against them. Koresh was given numerous chances to surrender. By failing to do so he sealed the fate of his cult members. If there was one thing this was NOT it was big brother picking on a bunch of peaceful worshipers.

As to the notion that the US Government killed dozens of its citizens (including children), simply because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, anybody who would defend that is a fascist. The Davidians allowed the feds to leave after the initial shootout. Then the feds came back and really showed 'em, didn't they? Might makes right? Wrong. Shame on you.

As to "illegal" weapons, the feds used the same sort of weapons in their assault of the Davidians. So illegal for the citizenry, but okay for the government. Such hypocrisy. Do you by chance work for the government?

Michael Jackson was a child molester, but the government didn't kill him...

You apparently forgot that the feds came back only after weeks of negotiations with Koresh during which he stalled, reneged and demonstrated how bizzare and fanatical he was. By refusing to let his cult members leave the compound of their own free will, Koresh was resposible for their deaths.

I was PERSONALLY set up three times by the ATF back in those glorious eighties. I've a relative who's DEAD from a BATF sting that cost taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars. They, the (ATF/BATF/BATFE) earned their rep for gung ho action by making lots of doors where there weren't s'posed to, they were a buncha' cowboys..... they're trying very hard to change that image today.


Another example if this "name change game" is the new ICE...... useta' be INS, then they recruited all us business owners to "police aliens for them" (you'd know nothing of this of course) and we slapped them back. They've shat their own domicile enough that now they've resorted to re-formatting to clear the stink. At the expense of the US Taxpayer (that would be you and I, altho I'm guessing you haven't paid taxes for some few yrs now)

Where on earth do you come up with this stuff?? I have paid hefty taxes every year since my first job out of college in 1966.

We sure do differ! My facts are real facts, not false assumptions, guesses or fabrications.

Well, you said you "reached adulthood in 1961 and haven't changed your mind since....." If "adulthood" was 20yrs old that would make you, ohhhh, around 72yrs old now. Or maybe "adulthood" was achieved at 17??? So you're only 69? Either case, I'll guess you're retired :)

Altho...... now you're claiming graduation in 66, which means college didn't change your mind in any way, but still..... retired.

The days of an honest press free of politics and fair with accurate reporting is long Gone.
The government painted a false image on The TV networks to justify their position.
False accusations on national TV will excuse any wrong doing on government part.
Denyability is a genuine Government tactic thats used to cover their butts''
 
Government = smoke and mirrors so you don't notice all the manure they are dumping, all the while claiming it is for your betterment.

There are no NEWS Stations nowadays......they are political platforms....that spew tunnel visioned facts and altered facts.
As Wilbur said... we need to organize our gun club militias to be there in case of a national emergency.Alone we are helpless.

Back to the subject of saving the economy, order a few jugs of powder nowdays. With all the Hazmat crap on top of it, you'll think you are single handedly saving the economy!
 
Well I know I've helped the economy, some :) since the last three powder orders I MAX'd the HAZMAT allowance to "save money."

I have yet to find or be told just where all this Hazmat collections are being interned. That is besides enhancing the carriers bottom line. Anybody Know?

Once again you are wrong. Now you're up to, what, 12 or 14 things you have "guessed" at or assumed--all wrong. Besides, your original claim was I didn't pay taxes, not that I was retired. Hmmmm...after so many wrong claims can any claims be trusted?

Interesting status report from Valley Guns in West Virginia :

Status of gun industry

“Attention F.B. fans: to follow will be several IMPORTANT Info updates about the status of the gun industry currently, followed by an INVENTORY UPDATE: We traveled to Texas for Industry meetings concerning the shortages, here's what we were told.

Smith & Wesson-is running at Full capacity making 300+ guns/day-mainly M&P pistols. They are unable to produce any more guns to help with the shortages.

RUGER: Plans to increase from 75% to 100% in the next 90 days.

FNH: Moving from 50% production to 75% by Feb 1st and 100% by March 1.

Remington-Maxed out!

Armalite: Maxed out.

DPMS: Can't get enough parts to produce any more product.

COLT: Production runs increasing weekly...bottle necked by Bolt carrier's.

LWRC:Making only black guns, running at full capacity...can't get enough gun quality steel to make barrels.

Springfield Armory: Only company who can meet demand but are running 30-45 days behind.

AMMO: Every caliber is now Allocated! We are looking at a nation wide shortage of all calibers over the next 9 months. All plants are producing as much ammo as possible w/ of 1 BILLION rounds produced weekly. Most is military followed by L.E. and civilians are third in line.

MAGPUL is behind 1 MILLION mags, do not expect any large quantities of magpul anytime soon.

RELOADERS... ALL Remington, Winchester, CCI & Federal primers are going to ammo FIRST. There are no extra's for reloading purposes... it could be 6-9 months before things get caught up. Sorry for the bleak news, but now we know what to expect in the coming months. Stay tuned, we'll keep you posted...

personally spent about 1k in january trying to get stocked up for match season. But a few guy's i work with who have never owned a gun before ran out and bought AR's and have been makeing ammo runs ever since. the shelf's are about empty everywhere. a few out of the way places still have some loading components. I looked at a ruger 1911.. for display only..you can not buy it. can only get on a list to buy one.
I can only imagine how much money was dumped in january on guns,ammo,reloading supplys.
