Spring has come and that brings about the end of the Indoor Season. With 4 states now competing, we had 143 competitors this season and 56 qualified for the National Titles by completing 20 targets and 2 tournaments. We had 19 - 2500 targets certified by the ARA Office with 2 more coming in from this last weekend. Ivan Wells has 6 Certified 2500s and 1 more coming to the office now. That has paved the way to the A-Line Championship for Ivan. 2nd place in the A-Line is Fred Sears and 3rd is Chuck Morrell. The aggregate championship was won by Darrel Barnes with a 2358.09 agg over 34 targets, 2nd is Ivan Wells, and 3rd is Jeff Miller.
In the State Championships you must complete 20 targets in that state to qualify and the champion is determined by Agg + Points in that state alone. The Arkansas State Champion is Darrel Barnes, 2nd is Jim Morehead, and 3rd is Jason Thornhill. The Louisiana State Champion is Fred Sears, 2nd is Vic Blackwell, and 3rd is Kenneth Richards. The North Carolina State Champion is Ivan Wells, 2nd is Chuck Morrell, and 3rd is Ken Askew. The Virginia State Champion is Chuck Morrell, 2nd is Tony Harper, and 3rd is A.W. Jeffreys.
