We have been working hard on getting the range ready for the ARA Indoor Nationals and it is almost finished.

In preparation for the main event we are going to have a warm-up match on November 12th starting at 9:00 AM. We will be shooting 6 ARA cards and are planning on doing a jackpot shoot similar to what we did last year at our other indoor matches. We hope to have at least 20 shooters so we can check everything out well. Also, the range will be open Friday afternoon for anyone coming in early.

This will be a great opportunity for a practice session for anyone planning on attending the national tournament. If you think you can make it or if you have any questions, give us a call. Hope to see you there.

Gregg Johnson (318) 282-6020

Dan Killough will be at the warm-up match with the latest shipment of Eley. Come to the shoot and test all you want.

If anyone needs directions to the range, the address is 2984 New Monroe Road (US Hwy 165), Bastrop, LA.

GPS Coordinates:
32° 45' 46" N
91° 57' 19" W

From Interstate 20, take the Bastrop/Columbia (US Hwy 165) exit in Monroe. You will travel north on US Hwy 165 for about 21 miles. The range will be on your right (east side of highway). Write down the phone numbers above and give one of us a call if you have any problems finding it. Hope to see you there.

How about an update. How did the match go? Were bullets going where they were supposed to?

Everything worked just like it was supposed to. No problems at all. Dan Killough had the high agg. of the match followed by Fred Sears. All we have left to do is bring in a few extra tables for extra cleaning space in the big match. Look forward to seeing everyone there.

Congrat's to Dan!

Jason do we need to bring cleaning tables if we have them or will there be plenty of room?

Looking foward to checking this new place out!

Tim

Tim - We should have enough table space for everyone to clean on but, if anyone has a table that they would like to bring, I'm sure we will have room to set it up.

Also, I forgot to mention that Gregg Johnson shot a 2500 during practice on Friday. If I remember right, the best target during the warmup match on Saturday was a 2400 and I think there were 3 or 4 of them.
