Am trying to assemble a complete upper in 6.5 Creedmore for my Armalite AR10. Bartlein bbl is being chambered and etc. and is due back in 4 weeks or so. Problem is I can't locate a simple 15" (free float) handguard for the upper. Am looking for a slotted upper to shoot off bags or bipod without all the accessory rails and junk that is currently so popular. A (very) few are available in the (DPMS) 16 tpi but cannot locate anything in the 18 tpi. The gas port is forward 2" for the 6.5 and would like to cover the block with the new handguard. Anyone know of a source???
