The last time this happened you guys were very helpful, so i'm going to ask again:

I have misplaced my new set of diamond abrasive files. Has anyone seen them around?

you can make jokes like that if you want to, but please don't get into the habit...
 
I guess I'm confused. I haven't been in your shop recently and wouldn't remember where to look. They are probably where you left them. With a post like your's it is a little hard to answer.

yeahhh, what Butch is saying is, "they'll be in the last place you look."

That is a given, why would you keep looking if you have found them. However, I have looked right at something I was looking for, had a brain freeze and didn't recognize that was what I was looking for.
 
it's been a nasty week. i spent nearly a minute looking for the end of my shoelace a couple of days ago. all down hill from there.
 
Hidden files

Try to mark the files right click the mouse and click on UNHIDE.

I will be darned if they will not reappear

Great news. I found them (they were under my bore sighter). However, they were not in the last place i looked, they were in the first place. do avoid this in the future, i am having all of my clothes altered to include a pocket for file storage. if you see someone walking oddly, leaning to the right, you will know it is me.
