Anyone know what happened at the Temecula shoot?

Yes, I know what happened. first off, the shoot is generally hel the THIRD Sunday of the month, barring cancellation due to other events. And,

There HAS been another even scheduled this coming Sunday, which prempt the December match. Will need to wait til January Frank.

But, perhaps I'm reading your post wrong, and you mean the one we just had last month? The results of that, which was our first 25M one, was posted here already. Its the one we had in the rainstorm.

Ok my friend, thanks for the enlightenment.........I somehow thought you guys shot last week. My mistake.......shipping y'all some wind.

Frank
Are you sending them Texas wind or some of this Arkansas wind that I've been having.
Merry Christmas to All

The wind at our last match was so bad it blew our target frame down during the match. We have lots of wind in Temecula, it pretty common for the .177's to get blown over three inches during our 50yd legs if the guys don't watch the flags good.

LD, YOU MIGHT WANT TO SHORTEN UP THE DISTANCE SOME...........LIKE INSIDE THE LENGTH OF YOUR YOUR GARAGE OR SOMETHING.

When shooting our last match at the Mentally/ Ballistic Challenging, Birchfield Shooting Center you could get better scores by watching the ceiling fans inside the bench area. Forget your flags....When the ceiling fans stopped...you shot!

Mr. Birchfield is in charge of the conditions on our range....and jus tween you and me he ain't been doing worth a sh-- lately.
Case in point: what I thought was mirage on the bottom of my target Sat. was actually wind. First range I ever seen where the target frames are guyed down and targets glued to the backers. You have to bring the whole target frame in to be scored...........Now I know Birchfield will deny all of this, mellow feller that he is, and all. But truthfully those that know him will confide he's been known to deny the obvious from time to time. He is presently seeking counceling to remedy the problem.

Here is a wind flag that was used in LD's garage at our NOV 25 meter match..

Having been to California before I know about the "Santa Anna" winds in persons. For the last two matches the winds have blown with the Santa Anna velocity. This past saturday it blew in gusts up to 20mph which I got caught in on my next to last bull that cost me the match. It landed in the 5 ring and a 6 would have won but that is life isn't it. Or mine anyway.
Frank, I'm going to order sleet and snow for the next match just to see how tough you are.
Merry Christmas to All

Seems I owe you California boys some apology.........the flag in the garage sez it all.

I shot a sporter match in Tomball Tx once in heavy pouring rain. Powder would not flow in the measures and your bullet block filled completly full of water in the first 2 min. Wind was easy, you watched which way the rain was running. Watched flags go straight up into the air.

Merry Xmas to all.............and even you Larry. Say howdy to the girls.
