Two months ago I could use my right index finger. Now I cannot make a fist
with my trigger finger or turn a key from pain and stiffness.

Other joints are in pain I have cancer sciatica MS and now Rheumatoid arthritis.

Been taking natural medicines and never a problem something accelerated this
in my hands hips toes feet knees and spine. Other organs affected.

Point is I still want to try to shoot this summer. Is methotrexate or arava better? Any way to use my finger again? tried mild exercise through range of motion. Seems to be getting worse. Cannot take hardly any prescription drugs
do to other internal reactions to acids or Hydrochloride bases. Prednisone and 2 other natural supplements make me a zombie. Methotrexate is acid might burn sciatic nerve where I can't walk.

Shocked this could get this severe this fast.

Yes, I have severe arthritis, every joint in my body. Yes when it starts it can go real fast.
It is your immune system turning on the cartilage in your joints.

Go see a rheumatologist, they know what to use, where a GP only treats the symptoms. You want to stop it from progressing.

Yes, Arava AKA leflunimide (sp) can help. These meds replace methaltrexate, not cheap tho.
I also give myself weekly injections.

See a rheumatologist right away. Seriously it can help.

They start out on the low end of meds to see what works and work up if needed.

See a rheumatologist right away

Before I saw the right kind of Dr I had problems walking, driving lots of stuff, much less shooting

My daughter is a RN and has similar problems. She sees a rheumatologist. He has her on a light chemo shot once a week. Makes her feel bad for about a day but it has pretty much got everything under control. Regular MD's are just not qualified to properly treat this kind of arthritis.

See a rheumatoligist now!!!

My wife was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arth. at the age of 21 by her 23 B-Day she was DISABLED she's 48 now. It's NOT a disease that's to be sloughed off. There are varying types of this disease with ALOT of different treatments, most if not all treatments(in her case) will affect the immune system to some degree or another over the long term. Get to a good Rheumatologist ASAP
