Well I am getting geared up to go, was wondering if anyone else on this site was planing on going. All I can say is Jerry Kloeppel puts on one heck of a great ran match, one of the best I have seen.

You are rite about Jerry Kloeppel, he is a great Match director and that is a first class range.....I was there for the IBS Nats last fall....like the way things are done there.....Roger

One thing that is really neat that Jerry uses is the metal "gong" for sighters. I've never seen this used before but the way he maintains them is innovative. I wish the other "claybird" clubs would consider the gong. Isn't that right Roger?

HI Jerry...yep...To gong or not to gong.....that is the ????......it shure eliminates the terrible mess...no need for newspaper in the bottom of the cage....hahaha.....I went out to the targets while there and he just paints the metal with white spray paint and then goes bak in a minit ,after the paint dries a lil', and paints a black dot/bullseye rite in the center...I like being able to watch the wind blow the "splash" furter and furttherrrr tho the left as it increases ...they just walk rite across the gong.!!! I really like the way he draws benches and rotates the shooters and the start times daily,,,,that way no one can compalin that he/she lost and so-and-so won because of a bad/good bench or lack of rotatation.....yipppeee.....I forgot to see how thick the metal was but did notice that it was not tooooo buggerd up with that .280 AI that I was "rignin" it with....wuld like to make one for use here on the "farm" ,,grin.....glad ur well and look foreward to good weather and lots-0-shootin this yr....Roger
