I'm wanting to use this 8x-32x Pentax SF mil-dot scope for accurate paper punching. The center crosshair ought to be plenty fine enough for paper work. But, before I'd drop $730 for it I was hoping somebody on this forum would have some personal input/experience with this scope.
I can't find a single owner anywhere!
When I narrow it down that I want a variable 32x scope, side focus, a mil-dot, and for under a thousand$, there's not a whole lot of scopes to choose from.
The only other scope that's close is the Elite 6500, and I don't like what I'm hearing about it. I considered having a Monarch or Sightron modified, but one modify guy is dead, the other modify guy seems to be retired, and Lee Dot doesn't work on these 2 scopes.
