Please any ideas who ( rifle builder/ gunsmith) may have built this Flash Ebert Turbo MK1 Rifle in 2006 (SN 000141)?
I just purchased it from a gentlemen in PA who no longer shoots. He stated the rifle was built in 2006. He purchased the rifle directly from Flash Ebert in 2007. Flash shot the target below in 2007 prior to the sale for the previous owner. It has a Jewel trigger set at 4 oz., a Fudd Tuner & unknown custom stainless barrel (Shilen is suspected by previous owner (PO) but he's not 100% sure) . The PO thought the rifle was built by Flash himself. However, an Odessa source close to Flash stated that he was not aware of any rifles that Flash ever built for sale to someone. This statement leads me to believe that either a gunsmith put this rifle together for Flash or more unlikely, Flash may have build the rifle himself.
I just started the 10 day CA waiting period on it today and should get to shoot is in a couple weeks. I do not know how it shoots but according to the PO, it's a shooter so I am very hopeful.
I would love to know who built it, any history on it and what the barrel actually is. Please any ideas who I may have built it? or who I can reach out to in order to find the gunsmith who built it? What stock is it? What the barrel could be?
