I viewed a very interesting tutorial by Mike Bryant on the 6BR Websight about converting a 308 BDL magazine and follower with a 223 block and spring to feed the 6BR cartridges. To my frustration, he mentioned that it would not work with the necked down 20BR...the cartridge I picked. 
He mentions that a Fireball block and spring might work. But you know, these parts ain't available at the Home Depot. Considering the cost and difficult availability when trying to obtain these specialized parts, I'd just as soon not go ripping up the parts in untried experiments. If a 20BR would not feed into a 6BR chamber, like Mike Bryant, I too can't be so sure that Fireball parts would work any better.
Anybody do a 20BR repeater, and have any constructive input or insight about it to offer?
