Anybody has "tuner" on their airgun barrel? (pictures)

I was wondering are there those "tuners" for airguns as there are for almost all rimfires... and I mean those heavy "potatoes" not brakes on barrels

I know, some say that "tuners" are there because rimfire shooters could not tune their loads, but some also say that tuners are, in fact, not tuners at all, but because of something else. Aren't they anyway because of vibration and for "tuning" those vibrations to get tighter groups???

Would like to see pictutes (and I want also and anyways to see photos of airgun tuned to benchrest ;) )

Fred Blanck has one on his RWS 54, He has the AGBR Springer record he has broken the record with his tuner. Not sure of make.

Fred's tuner is a Time Precision rimfire tuner with a custom nylon tube inside it.

Paul, I got a chill when I saw those pictures and remembered the conditions that day!
