I'm trying to help a new shooter get started. He is in the upper northwest part of the state. Quincy, Warsaw etc. Anybody in that area ??

BR in IL

No reistered matches in IL. Closest would be Oak Hills in Iowa, and St Louis in Wright City, MO. Both are well run matches. ...Dave
 
varmint for score

Its not reistered but we have a varmint for score in effingham IL the first shoot will be this sunday we shoot all the way out to the 300 yrd burm.
lots of fun there will be some very good shooters there.
 
Oak Hills

Oak Hills is outside of Blue Grass, Iowa. It's about 10 minutes west of Davenport (Quad Cities area).

There is a NBRSA registered Light Varmint match on Sunday. Sign up at 8 a.m. and shooting starts at 9. There's usually 12-15 shooters.

Matches are usually the third Sunday of every month, April thru September, alternating between LV and HV.

I need to correct the location of Warsaw. It's in the middle of the state on the western border. I don't know where I came up with my first post's info. Probably got it off the internet :D Keep the info coming !!
