I recently picked up a Anschutz model 54 match , I was thinking it would make a decent entry level rifle for IR50/50. I am new to this and need some help , What class will this rifle best fit into ? What would the typical setup be ?
The rifle is pretty heavy so I was thinking it would not make weight for sporter class , I was thinking maybe the 10.5 class ?What stock should I be looking for to make weight with a hoen tuner and a t36 scope . or is this unreal ? should i be going for the 13.5 class ?
 
You can shoot IR50/50 and RBA unlimited and ARA as is. If you're going to reconfigure, keep it under 10 1/2 lbs. with scope. That will make you legal for all classes except the sporter. Check the rules before investing any money. Call Don Stith about a stock.
