Anschutz Ring/Base Question

Rimfire Shooters,

I have aquired a Anschutz Match Model 54 MS rifle.

I have a Leupold/Priemier 18x-40x 50 "30mm tube"
scope I would like to mount on it.

Now the problem, the rings that came with it are 1"
I think. The rear mount is a stationary base/ring
assembly with the letter "R" in a circle on the side of it.
The number 153 is stamped on the under side.

The front ring/base assembly has a ring that fits on
the top of the base between two adjusting screws
for windage corrections.
Can anyone identify the manufacturer of these ring/bases?

Can I purchase a set of 30mm rings that will fit on these
bases?

I hope I have adequatley described them so someone can
help me.

Anybody know of a good sorce for Anschutz accessories?

Anschutz rings

The rings and base you describe are made by Redfield.
From your description you are putting them on backwards.
If they are 1" they will not work on a 30mm scope without 30mm rings.
Check out other ring manufacturers for one whose 30mm rings will work with a Redfield base. Redfield may well make them.
