Anschutz Match 64 bedding question

While at the range yesterday I noticed something odd. My barrel sits to the right in the stock channel. There is almost a 1/8" difference in the gaps- it almost touches the right side of the stock channel. I put a little pressure on the barrel and I can push it over, but it doesn't stay.
Is this something I need to address, or is it normal? I am leaning to the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" since it does shoot well, but if it indicates a future problem I would rather fix it now.

I haven't removed the action yet. I guess I should have done so before asking.

It's safe to say it's the original factory bedding. i.e. none.

The Anschutz's respond well to a good bedding job. FYI, my 64 MPR likes having 1.5" of the barrel bedded as part of the bedding job.

Your forend warped. Unfortunately whatever you do with the bedding does not alter the fact that you'll be shooting a crooked stock.

My mpr came with bedding tape and would not shoot for chit. I removed the tape and bedded it , and now shoots good. Shot my first IBS target today 250 7x-7w. And 231 3x usbr target.

I don't think it is warped. If it was the gap would be tapered. The gap along the barrel is straight. The gap is just wider on the left side.
