Anschutz 64 S BR

What do you guys think of this rifle? Accurate? Trigger ok? Action good?
I'm looking at buying one brand new for about $1200 I'm a good shooter and I'm looking for something to shoot IR 50/50 with.

i started out in club br w/ an 64 mpr..enjoyed shooting it..but seemed to run into a wall at 249 & 12x's..that was it..what you want to buy is the same but different..br 3" stock ..a shorter barrel..but the same action & trigger..the trigger is the problem..a 54 trigger adj down to 2oz..a 64 trigger 6oz ..a totally different feel on the 54 trigger & action..for $ 1200 buy a used 54 or for that matter a suhl..i bought 2 52d's from jim williams that i am very satisfied with..look at the site rimfire classified..lot of rifles for sale in the 1200 - 1500 range that would serve you better than a 64 br.

Anschutz 64 S Br

I recently purchased a 64 br in 22lr with a Weaver T36 and the trigger is set at 6 oz. I added a Barrel Tuner and it really made a difference in group size at 50 yards.
