Anschutz 1700 Trigger work.

Well it's been a while but I finally got my $$$$ worth at a gun show. Just aquired my 2nd fwt and this one has the deluxe fibergrain mcmillian.


Can someone w/ history walk me through this trigger?? I would like to get it down to 2-3lbs. This one is 5+ and has a ton of creep / overtravel. I have worked on 700 triggers for years and know the pre-64's as well. Just never had to work on the annie's.

I have another 1700 fwt that had been worked over before I aquired it and I can see where the spring is cut down compared to this scrunched up new one. Any tips would be appreciated!!

Anshcutz trigger help

Is it a single stage or two stage trigger. I can probably help as I have four Anschutz 1712's that have 2 pound triggers now - RF Silhouette requires 2 lbs.

I never fondled a 1712....these 1700 fwt's were made back in the 90's & single stage. Although it has so much creep, it feels like a cruddy 2 stage. :D

There is a sticker on the trigger to see adjustment manual, but I don't have it.
