Picked up a nice used 1407 a while back, the rifle is bedded, I noticed whom ever did the bedding placed a small amount of bedding under the tapered nut right in front of the action , there is none under the barrel, is this the correct way to bed these rifles? I have not shot it yet so I don't really know how it shoots. thanks
