Anschutz 1400/40

I ran across an Anschutz 1400/40 and was looking for info on it. A search on this Forum, Yahoo, and Google got me no where. The Anshutz website doesn't even list this model. Can you guys shead some light on it.

A search for Anschutz 1400 without the 40 suffix gives a lot of sites for a neat little sporting rifle. Have a look at some of the images from that search & see if it's the model you saw.

There's been more than one manufacturer that stamped more designation information on an action or barrel than they listed in their literature.
