Rumor has it that Marion Collier nailed a target at Ennis yesterday. That Swindelhurst seems to be shooting pretty good.

Good Shooting Marion!!!

Congratulations and Great Shooting. Keep it up. Fred

Congrats Marion!!! I know up at Horton KS he came close with a very nice 2450. Great shooting, well done!

Congratulations Marion

Congratulations Marion, It was a great target, not one bullet hole was close enough to plug. Marion was shooting a gun made by Bill, Bill Myers that is.

That must be the other Bill who is the honest gun smith who doesn't toot his own horn. ;)

Is that the Bill that was accused of beating an action to death with a ball peen hammer? Seems I recall that was the buzz on this board a few years ago. Same basic story. Gonna have it on display at the nationals and all that. Guess he wasn't convicted in the "court of popularity".

Congratulations

That's some super nice shooting there Marion. Having watched you at this game, and even sharing a bench at the Lousiana State match this year, your drive to understand and succeed at this game is second to done. Enjoy this achivement and again a big congrats for such. Are you going to be at the Texas State meet? if so I'll see you there.

that guy that has that battered action was not able to make it to the nationals that year due to an unexpected occassion that popped up,,,,,, but to answer your question yes that is the same guy........

Scotty, would that be the same Bill that built the gun you tried to buy from Chris Peet last Saturday?

James, yes that would be correct, i did offer him a good offer to leave it here, but like i did before, a good gun is not for sale , but i tried any way,,,,from a gunsmiths stand point , it does not matter who the smith is , hell if you build enough of them , you are bound to come up with one that shoots sooner or later.......

Scotty, You're Right

Scotty, you are right, there are two great shooting rifles in this thread built by the same smith.

James, you are 100 percent right about those 2 guns , they kick ass......well i am leaving this morning at 8am to go up to (corvette fest) in Eureka springs,Arkansas, it is a 4 day event , so i am taking a little mini vacation .... i know you can appreciate this ........ see you all next week. yall behave you hear.....

great shooting

Is that the rifle recovered from the trash barrel? :)

That's some great shooting Marion, there's no doubt about that! Any time anyone can shoot a 2500 it's a great day of shooting for everyone involved.

While I'm here, a big "Hi" goes out to my friend GTM. Haven't heard from you in ages. By the way Gary, this new airgun thing is something totally unexpected, even with all I knew about it prior to getting involved. It still simply amazes me just how accurate these little puff guns are, shot after shot, day in and day out!

In Mr. Myers defence, not that he needs defending. I know of one fellow out on the left coast (who will remain nameless due to there being some past controversy between he and Scotty) that owns 4 Myers' Builts he bought one right after the other, and all 4 have shot 2500's in registered matches. Now, that tells me Mr. Myers knows something about what he is doing.

Probably best to let sleeping dogs lie. If you start stirring up the poo, I might want to take a bite out of someone's a$$.
