Announcement: New action for Dave Tooley

I just sent a special run of actions to Dave Tooley. They are a special Right bolt, Left port, Right ejection system like most of you like. They are all magnums and will work with any mag cartridge. The only real difference between these and the full blown benchrest action is pinned trigger versus a hanger and a regular bolt nose with our M16 extractor system. The bolt fit is good and tight, actions are all straight with no blueprinting reqd etc. One other big difference is price. I think he is gonna sell them for about $800, but dont hold me to that. Give him a call if you need an action for this season. They will be there in a few days.

(only difference is bolt color. Bolt is matt and polished versus black)

Is the screw on the bolt handle now standard on all actions? Just wondering.

I will have either magnum or standard bolt faces available. I will also be offering extra bolts. Action w/2 fitted bolts $1100

How much does the standard boltface action weigh and how much barrel will it handle?

Just about dead on 2 Lbs. with a recoil lug.

You could hang a 30" HV contour without any trouble at all.
