Does anyone have the modern/correct way to anneal brass? I've done alot of research on the web and I've find several different theories. What is the best way?
I decided to build a rotating device for the shell, Im guessing by rotating the shell i can get more of an even heat to the neck of the shell. I heard your only suppose to heat the neck only. When i do that i can see a definate line where the heat stops kinda a black line.....am i getting the brass too hot? where should the line be lower end of the neck, or further down the case?
Does anyone know what temp the brass should be? or what the max temp should be? The neck of my brass only heated to around 120 or so and the bottom of the case was around mid 80's.
