The first match of the season brought out 7 shooters. It was a very "sporty day" to say the least. Congrats to Penny Hadfield who shoot the only 250, despite super tough conditions! Thanks to all for a great day!

Hi Bob,

First, congratulations on your first match as Match Director. Job well done. And a big thanks to Pops, I know he was a great help.

"Sporty day"? That's putting it mildly. One didn't even have to look down range to know we were having "fun"...just listening to the groans and laughs would tell the tail.

See you at Easthampton this Saturday.

Al

Yes Bob, job well done indeed!

Congrats to both Al and Penny for leading the way through a tough maze of conditions. Man, for a beautiful, sunny day, those winds were brutal.

I'm hoping to be at Easthampton with the rest of you on Saturday, but am still in a "we'll see" mode.

Dave

Good shooting Al and Penny. Must be as tough up there as it is here. Bad winds.
Jim

Thanks for running the matches at Angletree!

Bob and Ray,
Great time even with the evil winds!
You even made 12 new target frames!!! In under a week!

Thanks for feeding us and Penny's beets hit the spot.

David Great come back on the second match.

Michael, Thanks for your idea's on my new ammo.

See you this Sat at Easthampton.

I think so Jim. As Paul said there were some "evil winds".

When someone told me Penny shot a 250 I didn't believe them. Just looking at the scores tells the story. The bottom line is everyone had a good time, that's what matters. :D

Al

Thanks Al, running the match was the easy part...All the typing on the computer ,sending in the scores will be something to get used to. Pops was a great help, as was Jerry Miller and Michael Gallant...and Penny for helping with the scoring. Paul, the target frames were a bit easy with a blueprint to follow from Easthampton's frames..thanks for the donation toward the cost. Dave nice second match of the day with the difficult conditions we dealt with. Evil winds is right... maybe next time I'll bring out the thunder and lightning and turn the wind dial to 11...:) Penny the pickled beets hit the spot...too bad the relish is all gone...see you guys in Easthampton on Saturday!

Bob

Great job running your first match Bob!

It looks like Angle Tree is going to be the range to master this year. Wow, was that a tricky match day.

Congrats to Penny for the 250. I wouldn't have thought it possible under those switches.

Best,
Michael

I wouldn't have thought a 250 was possible either Michael...Oh us of little faith. ;)

Bob, if you use the hunt and peck typing method as I do all that typing would be a chore to say the least.
