Do you use the Creedmoor rule for tiebreaking at your matches?

Congrats to the winners either way but I believe that is the way ties are broken in ubr. Can't use Wipeouts due to different dot sizes per calibers. But after that, yes, a match can potentially end in a tie.

Just asking. If not registered matches, it doesn't matter. Up to the MD or club.

Hi Mike. We use the UBR targets in a manner that works for our club. 1 custom class, weight limit 25 lbs, no 1 piece rests. Factory, no flat bottom stocks, no Cooper etc or 6br or 6ppc. Hunter class barrel diameter limit at muzzle .670 and 10x scope. One entry per class. Same rules for all 4 matches we have. Ties are added together and money split. I took it over middle of last year and it has more than doubled in attendance . We shoot 1 distance each month rotating 100, 200, 300. No Creedmore, who is to say one point is better than another. I favor shoot offs but that can be difficult also. In the Springer air gun bench matches I run we shoot many different crazy tie breakers. I think they enjoy that more than the regular match. Remember something, fewer rules fewer arguments. More rules, more arguments.

Thanks Jeff! I was just wondering. The creedmore rule is certainly a less than perfect system, isn't it. As long as you're having fun, that's what matters. Glad you're doing it and enjoying the format.
