The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers.

Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or mo

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

Send to your friends in these states AND fight to dissolve this BILL!!

They can come and get mine anytime they want it.

I'll give up all of my ammunition to anyone that thinks they really want it.

If I've got ammo that is not registered by their new tracking bill's the only way that these people will get it is one bullet at a time, when they come on down and try to take it.

I don't care what they think they can do by passing laws. If there is a law that is passed the deprives me of the ability to protect my family and my property from the bad guys and a rouge government, it is not legal as for as I'm concerned.

The constitution made allowances to keep the government or certain people in the government from taking our abillity to protect our selves. They can always go to hell.

The problem, in this day and time, is not enough people have the kahonies (spelling) to stand up to thouse traitors in Washington. Richard

Just to let you all know the bill was killed as I was informed from Pennsylvania's Mark Keller. He said "It was stopped just as quick as it was started"...

Because he was smart enough to know it wouldn't fly in PA. That bill is for the clueless that are still gullible enough to be convinced that the homicide rate and gun violence will be lowered. What sane person would ever commit a homicide with a weapon that is matched to ammunition for forensic identification purposes?

Philadelphia, PA., has one of the highest homicide rates in the nation. The homicides were committed with stolen guns. Conveniently, the politicians leave this fact out; resorting to another useless recommendation to deal with inner city violence.

The left is feeling so empowered since Obama's win that attempts like this Bill are only the beginning. If you throw enough sh** against the wall eventually some of it will stick!

The bill never made it out of commitee here in Indiana. I contacted by Representive, Senator and the governors office. All three said basically said "won't pass on our watch". We have a very pro gun govenor. He pushed for and got passed a lifetime handgun permit, and it's no hassle.

I think the same response occurred in PA. I know many people, myself included, who e-mailed, wrote, and contacted their elected officials over this.
