Range opens 7:15
Practice 8:20 to 8:40
Late comer setup 8:40 to 8:55
Match starts 9:00 am
For shooters traveling a distance there is a nice motel in Sparta just a few miles from the range.(336-372-2501)
Coffee and Donuts will be available in the AM
Sandwiches,drinks and snacks for lunch.
The weather is cooling off quickly in the mountains.Bring a jacket.

I was just informed that the Alleghany club is holding a raffle and drawing at the range on Saturday October 1st.First prize is 1000.00 or the winners choice of a
1200.00 gun(Colt Gold Cup Trophy,Remington 1100 Target,DPMS 223 Prairie Panther,Remington 223-R-15VTR,CZ Redhead O/U etc.).Second prize is 500.00.
Tickets are 5.00 each or 5 for 20.00.The raffle is to raise funds for the clubs land purchase program.
As part of the program the club is adding four additional rimfire benches and ten new 100 yard centerfire benches which can also be used for rimfire.This will give us 34 benches for next years matches.Our goal is to eliminate having two relays.We plan on all matches (except state,regional and national matches)to be complete by 3:00 pm allowing shooters driving a distance to be on the road at a decent hour. The club is also planning to host some winter matches in our new indoor facility.

Way to go Greg Looks like that new Eck copperhead and Rock Creek 6 groove is shooting good
