Yes, the new 25m range is completed now, and Rich Woods has graciously produced the appropriate World's spec targets, so we will be able to try the World distance and target to see how we stack up. We will still be doing 50 yds too, should folks prefer.

Potluck, so bring food and drink, I have the grill and a 18pack a bud.

9:00 am at my place, email if you don't know the way.

What do you shoot at 50 yards, grouping or score?
In South Africa we shoot the WRABF rules at 25m for score: LV (12fpe), HV-A (15fpe) & HV-B (20fpe).
We also shoot 50m grouping unlimited fpe. 5 x 5 shot groups for a average group size.

Roger..here is target...and yes,....20 FPE..

Think most (USA) airgun benchrest 'clubs' have been shooting unlimited power...ajustment to 20 FPE is for the upcoming WRABF match in South Carolina next July/August...so most will be de-tuning their rifles..

Most common choice could very well be USFT's, and high end Euro rifles..

25M power limit at Temecula

Not going to limit, since we are only just doing trials to see what its like on the new target. I do think I'll list the ones folks say are under 20fpe and under the 15lbs, if they want.

I will try my normal rig, but might have it closer to 20fpe IF I can get some good ammo. I had some decent Crosman stuff, but its used up now.

If I can find a tin of the lighter JSB that works ok, I'll see how it does for me.

Hi S. Africa!

We shoot mostly for group at 50yds, in which case we normally shoot ten three shot groups, three targets, for a total of thirty groups. Its a lot of shooting, so when we shoot for score AND groups we shoot fewer targets. We tried five shot ones, but we found the three sots works better for us, since more groups tends to give us a better picture of how each gun and shooter is doing.

Another fun thing we have tried is to shoot for the ten the first shots, scring for points, then fire another on the same target and score IT (of course marking each hit), then the third, then you can get both score AND group size.

Crosman Dome's 10.5 lot #4 de best. but kind of hard to get though . just forgot your useing .22 cal -maybe something in the range of 15.5 huh?:)

your friend Delighterman.
