Air Gun match-Texarkana, Tx.-Results

I know that this is short notice but we are having a 3 target air gun match at our range on Saturday Oct. 25, 2008 starting at 6:00 pm. I finally got permission from the club to hold night matches and I now have my offical scoring plug. This is an outdoor range with a covered firing line. We will be setting up lights for this match.
The match is limited to the first 14 shooters that speak up.

Results of 10/25/08 match

Well we had our first real airgun benchrest match last night. Only four shooters but we had a good time. This was the first night match allowed by our club in years. I borrowed Paul Thompson's gun to shoot the match and boy did I have a good time.
1. Larry Burchfield=247-5x/ 249-5x/ 247-1x= 743-11x (USFT/JSB)
2. Paul Thompson=247-9x/ 249-1x/ 244-3x= 740-13x (USFT/JSB)
3. Floyd Elder= 237-1x/ 239-1x/ 237-1x = 713-3x (USFT/JSB)
4. Johnnie Gentry= 229/ 227/ 237 = 693 (USFT/JSB)
Paul did inform me that I would not be using his rifle at the next air gun match and then I told him that it was just the blind hog finding the acorn. It was my first time to shoot a PCP gun.
