This Saturday, May 31st, Pinnacle Mountain Fish & Game Club in Lyndeborough, NH will be hosting their second in a series of benchrest competitions for both IR 50/50 (.22 rimfire) and AGBR (air guns) alike.

The gates will open by 7:45 A.M. with sign-in and bench drawings to immediately follow. The first “Commence Fire” for the IR 50/50 portion of the competition will be called promptly at 9:00 A.M.

We will take a short break immediately following the conclusion of the IR 50/50 match to relocate the target stands back at 25 yards, for lunch (not provided), and to allow time for any new arrivals to sign-in, plus for bench drawing.

The “Commence Fire” for the AGBR portion of the day should be called at approximately 12:00n, or as soon thereafter as time will allow for.

Everyone is more than welcome to join in the fun. Keep in mind that no lunch is being provided so you will need to bring along whatever works best for you. As always though, there will be a good selection of sodas available in the clubhouse refrigerator for a small donation.

If you need to contact me for whatever the reason before the match, please do so by either calling my cell phone at: 987-877-8482, or by emailing me at: dashattuck@gmail.com.

And remember: “it is still black fly season”!!!

David,
I will be shooting at PM. I think I might shoot Match class with Todd and let the Walther LGR's battle it out in the wind. I have not shot my LGR outside yet but inside the groups are better than my Rapid. I might even use a car jack for a rest.

Dave,
I'm looking forward to my first AGBR match on Sat. The conditions I've been stuck practicing in are worse than Pinnacle's usual conditions, and having to stand up to cock the Walther forces you to shoot almost every condition if you want to finish a target in time. I hope the conditions at Pinnacle are better than usual!

Paul,
Mine shoots really good indoors, too...If it's windy, and you're shooting the Walther, can I borrow your Thoeben?;)

Looking forward to Sat.
Todd

It's sounding like we could be having a great match. We're supposed to be facing some moderately challenging conditions, we should have 9 or 10 there for the IR match, and then 4 to 6 for AGBR, and the temps will be more than comfortable. Of course, then we'll be facing those little black buzzards that will be swarming around and trying to suck us dry just to keep everything in balance.

See you all on Sat. A.M.

Dave

Gee Whiz Joe, when I saw you had responded I'd hoped you were saying that we'd see you as well on Saturday. Guess that'd be a lot to expect.

Dave, that would be nice to come visit and shoot with you all. I have retired from the rimfire game. Have my goals set on centerfire and this new game as well. I mentioned to Al, that He and Penny both need to shoot a 250 this weekend. It would be great to see happen. Dave you are shooting that sporter great, keep it up.

Again, the best to all of you this coming weekend in both disciplines.

Take Care,
Joe
