Hi all, I'm sorry I didn't make it to Demopolis, but money and health problems just wouldn't have made it any fun.
Regardless, I'm continuing to play with my old FWB 300S in my backyard in hopes of some attempts next year. I have an old Lyman LWBR I've been saving for a rimfire BR gun and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how it might survive on the the recoilless FWB action.
FWIW, I did throw an old Beeman scope on the gun, and had to use a stop block behind the rings (scope was moving backwards).
I'd like to use something with a little more power so I can actually see the target, but obviously don't want to trash what is otherwise a fine scope.
Just trying to make do with what's on hand at the moment as I'm on medical leave from work, and money for new toys ain't exactly pouring in.
Thanks for any help,
Rob
