Adjusting a Farley rest

I have never adjusted my Farley rest, but think it may need it.
I can move it to my aiming point almost. I say that because
It seems I can never get right there. It always needs a little tension
on the handle. Seems to go to far or not enough, kind of jerky.
Anyone have a tip to share on this

Go to Butch Lamberts site and look at his rest screws. That will fix it.
