the question i want to ask to Lefty's or righty's what have you decided works best for you? fastest, ect..............................

Hi Scott,

I reckon getting familiar with what you've got is probably the most important thing. I've got a bunch of different configurations from over the years, but everything I've bought since 2000 is RB/RP/RE. I'm right handed.

My left hand never leaves the joystick (or rear bag), unless for a second to hold the stock while opening the bolt.

Having said that, and watched people like Larry Costa and Terry Leonard shoot a RB/LP/RE, and they are awfully fast &
smooth.

Tony Boyer, Wayne Campbell, and many other righties use RB/RP/RE, but I believe that the RB/LP/RE is faster. Just watch Harley Baker run a string and you will know what I am saying. Mike Ratigan, another fast shooter shoots RB/LP/LE and he is very fast. Find a port /bolt configuration with which you are comfortable and practice. Good shooting, James

Might also consider the benches where you shoot. A couple of places that I shoot, a right hander has basically no bench to the left for a LE configuration.

I'm right handed. The fastest for me, RB/LP/RE.

ED Watson,
was one of the fastest shooters I shot next to Without an ejector. But with or without you can be the fastest but how is your point of aim and gun handeling along with the speed?
