Boy, here I go again, wishy washy winds SE then SW; not good enough, OK we'll come SE for half the range & SW for the other half - now shooter- you figure that out !
Typical (?) San Angelo - we'll keep you guessing!
Derrick Biggs took the Junior Unlimited class with a 188 agg, sure would be nice if we could get some other juniors to shoot with him,but he'll be prime when he shoots with the Senior class. Great shooting, 193 high for the day.
Paul Dyer & Allen Taylor kept duking it out for the high scores in Senior Unlimited and on the 2nd & 4th targets we had to go to the tie breaker with Paul taking both of them. His high for the day was a 194 on the 1st target. Paul ended up with an agg of 190.25 to take 1st place in Senior Unlimited.
Senior Factory class had Ron Herring taking the 1st & 3rd cards with a 177 & 184. Tom Cunningham took high 2nd with a 175 & Howard Wilson took the high 4th card with a 176.
Howard brought his wife Carolyn along & she observed and checked out her timing so we hope to see her in the upcoming matches. We need more women shooters out here, they can help keep the rowdiness down. Ron Herring took 1st place with an agg of 176.
Our next ABRA match is Sept. 22nd with our Club Tournament the following Sat. Sept. 29, 2017.
