Record

If I'm not mistaken, the 185 is the first Raw Score Record.. Something for us all to shoot for. Well done Dale.

Congratulations to Dale and Jerome for their wins and everyone who participated in the 1st official ABRA match. It's a known fact that Danny Keeney has a love for Benchrest shooting and working hard to provide places over the years so others can enjoy it. Now he sees the opportunity to provide the guys and gals who have these little auto 22's in the closet to come out and enjoy target shooting.
Joe, Lisa and Luke the 1st ones history and hopefully, no I want to say it's a pretty sure bet that there will be 1000's of more matches in the future as you work hard to promote this opportunity for those to enjoy and have fun. Those who read this and have one of these little 22's get your local gun club on board for this is one of those opportunities to have some fun plus the biggest reward is to get the younger generation involved, as always the kids are our future and I know that Joe, Lisa and Luke have plans to make it rewarding for them, whether it's through Belt Buckles, Pins or Ribbons, but something they can show with pride. "Hey Johnny where'd you get that cool pin, oh I won it at the rifle match last Saturday". "Hey I want to do that too".

Fun!

Thanks to Joe and all for the new sanction, might fill a void that most of us just didn't think about. Thanks too Fred and Les. :D
Thanks to Danny for the first match and his really slick Racetrack Range, nice place to shoot!

The new target is fun but a 'tough ten'. :D 20 rounds in 15 minutes makes for a 'snappy' match, I like that too.

Had one call about my 10/22, so here's the poop in case anyone else is interested... A Ruger 10/22 SS receiver with rear hold-down added, Power Custom scope mount, Green Mountain 20" SS fluted barrel threaded to receiver by Randy at CPC, CPC reworked bolt with custom Tubb spring, Kidd 2-stage trigger, T36, and pillar/bedded Boyd stock modified to benchrest use. Eley Team 1045 ammo.
