ABRA Boerne Results 04.23.2019
Well 9 of the Boerne Tuesday Night Wrangler ABRA boys and girls rode their horses in for another fun filed, and in some cases head banging, advantage. Everyone had their eyes on the weather, and yes, we got some rain, but nothing us ole cowhands couldn’t handle. We had a good showing for the new outlaw bolt class with 6 wranglers dividing up the action with 3 riding Outlaw Heavy Barrel and 3 saddling up Outlaw Light Barrel. Old man Joe Chacon took home the bacon in heavy barrel shooting his fancy CZ 452 into the winner’s circle with a 196.5 agg. He also had high card with a 197.
Cowgirl Josie Hensler wasn’t far behind with a 194agg.
Hubert Kelsheimer, Mr. Denny’s is the eggs and waffles ready yet, was close on their heels with a 193.5 agg.
Mr. James Braddy decided to take the Outlaw Light Barrel by the horns and won with a 183.5 agg.
Cowhand Leon Kuznik decided to grab that bull by the tail and wasn’t far behind, no bun intended with a 182.5 agg.
That left Cowboy Bob Beckett, riding his new Remington 40X, to finished up the field with a 179 agg.
Now us traditional cowhands, Lisa, Les and Allen mounted up our Unlimited Semi-Auto’s to fill out the show.
When the dust had settled Lisa Chacon and I, Les Williams, were tied with a 193.5 agg. Using our tie breaking showdown of who’s best with a bowie knife, well let’s just leave it with Lisa was crowned as the top rider for the unlimited show.
Ole Allen Taylor got off to a slow night on his first bull out of the chute and was sent into orbit. He came back in style with a nice 197 ride for a 190.5 agg.
It was definitely a lot of fun and of course good ole horseplay was in full force. Until next time everyone stay straight in those saddles and see you at the next rodeo.
