Hello,

I just picked up a used BR rifle in 6x47 Lapua. It came with some 90 grain Bergers already loaded and they did very well; but, I only have some 105's Bergers and 107's on hand to play with until I get some 90's. The barrel is a 1x 7.5 twist so I believe the 105/107's should work fine and I would like to use the 105's as they are moly coated and the rifle has been only fired with moly bullets. With a 30" 7.5 twist barrel what loads would you all use with either 4831sc or Varget. I'll be starting low and working up to max and looking for the best groups not the most speed. Brass is Lapua 6.5x47 already necked down and not turned. Primers are Winchester SR and Remington. The primer, powder and bullet choice are components I have already on hand. I've order some 115 DTAC's BN and some 90 moly's but will not have them by this weekend. I'd like to try the Reloader 17 also but no one has any in stock at the moment it looks like. Any help would be great, Donald

Twist rate

There is some pretty good info posted by Eric Stecker and Randy Robinett regarding the 105-108 and the fast twist barrels. Just something to keep in mind as you load those.

6mmbr

Hi, I did ask over at 6mmbr but have not recieved a reply yet. Thought I'd increase my chance of getting a workable load by trying here also. Donald
