A rumour about trigger lube

I heard through the grape vine that someone was applying either a molybdenum disulfide or a teflon coating to trigger parts that need lubrication so they can operate dry and you need not worry about that issue again. Can anyone confirn this and if so is the procedure any good. Also where is it being done.
Andy.

The link goes to a post regarding those parts outside the trigger housing which are lubricated in the normal course of events. I doubt that Boyd advocates lubing anything in the trigger.

What about that squirt can that used to be used for locks? I think it was graphite in a alcohol solvent? That should be OK, right? My engineer mind balks at the thought of high stress metal contact without any lube. And lighter fluid evaporates away to nothing.
